Auckland and Beyond!

Today I discovered Albert Park, the best thing about Auckland that I have seen yet. It has these great trees with gigantic roots coming out of the ground that look like claws, or maybe they are not claws at all but part of the tree trunk. Great for sitting under.
I found this oasis of green on my way back from the Salvation Army, where I purchased key kitchenware items for my week vacation in a campervan with my dear friends Brian and Kristin, who also have a travel blog and who have made the extremely intelligent decision to visit New Zealand for six weeks! I have designated myself "New Zealand expert," which means that I own a Rough Guide to New Zealand and have recently purchased a map of the country. We will see as much of the coastline of the North Island as possible before heading to another wwoofing assignment and then hitting the South Island by storm. Yay!
